Job Description

Job Overview Berlon Insurance Agency, LLC, located in Kettering, Ohio, is seeking a confident, motivated, and career-driven individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative. Salary Range:
$36,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible Schedule Hands on Training Mon-Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Monthly Bonus Opportunities Professional Work Environment Continuing Education Ongoing Training Seminars Requirements What we are looking for: Sales readiness and experience: Minimum one year of sales experience (successful background preferred), strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle rejection, stress, and challenging situations professionally. Motivated, driven, and goal-oriented: Highly self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently, and committed to hard work, excellence, and going the extra mile. Positive, coachable attitude: Enthusiastic, optimistic, resourceful, eager to learn (insurance experience not required), and receptive to coaching and growth opportunities.
Strong customer and phone skills:
Professional phone etiquette, excellent listening and closing abilities, and talent for opening doors, securing appointments, and engaging prospects from a cold start.
Organized team player:
Able to multitask, follow through, collaborate well with colleagues, and maintain a positive, career-minded approach while holding a required Property & Casualty license. Responsibilities Achieve sales goals by generating insurance quotes, delivering presentations, closing sales, and consistently pursuing new business opportunities. Perform proactive lead generation through cold calling, direct emails, and other outreach methods while gathering and entering prospect information accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by answering calls promptly, returning messages quickly, and supporting customers throughout the sales process. Maintain accurate records by documenting all customer interactions in eAgent and verifying/updating contact and policy information during each communication. Follow all compliance and underwriting guidelines to ensure proper rating, documentation, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
