Job Summary Farmers Insurance is hiring an Insurance Agency Trainee for a hybrid position based in Tuscaloosa, AL that combines sales production with agency development. In this role, you will be expected to sell and produce business, but the opportunity is designed for candidates who want to go beyond a standard producer seat. This position is built for individuals who want to learn how to contribute to agency growth, client experience, and long-term operational success while building a foundation in insurance sales. The Opportunity This is an excellent fit for a candidate who wants a structured path with real growth potential. You will gain practical experience in prospecting, policy support, renewals, customer retention, and business development while also learning the systems and rhythms that help an agency perform at a high level. With coaching and development support, this role can serve as the starting point for future leadership within an agency environment. Responsibilities Generate leads and convert opportunities into new business. Present coverage options and recommend solutions for clients. Support policy servicing, renewals, and account retention. Learn agency workflows, reporting expectations, and production habits. Participate in ongoing mentoring and training sessions. Maintain professionalism and responsiveness with clients and prospects. Requirements Ability and willingness to obtain insurance licenses. Strong work ethic and willingness to be accountable to goals. Sales or client-facing experience preferred.
