Commercial Lines Account Manager About Us We are a growing, family-owned independent insurance agency committed to providing exceptional service and trusted insurance solutions to our clients. As our agency continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. Position Summary The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of commercial insurance clients, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting the agency's retention and growth objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering timely and accurate service. Responsibilities
  • Manage and service an assigned book of commercial insurance business.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, audits, and cancellations.
  • Prepare and review renewal proposals and coverage recommendations.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes and resolve policy issues.
  • Review policies for accuracy and coverage adequacy.
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up when needed.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts when appropriate.
  • Collaborate effectively with producers and other team members to ensure a positive client experience. Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
  • Current California Property & Casualty License preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy forms.
  • Experience with agency management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business technology.
What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through on commitments, and understands the importance of providing timely service to clients and carrier partners. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Work Arrangement This position will be based in our office during the initial onboarding and training period. After approximately six months of successful performance and demonstrated proficiency in the role, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered. Compensation & Benefits
