Commercial Lines Account Manager Position Summary:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing a portfolio of small to mid-sized commercial accounts while partnering closely with Producers to support new business development. This role ensures a high level of client satisfaction by managing day-to-day service needs, maintaining accurate policy information, and delivering timely, professional support across all aspects of account management.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries related to coverage, billing, claims, and policy changes Manage policy servicing activities including endorsements, renewals, policy reviews, and coverage verification Collaborate with insurance carriers to coordinate policy updates and resolve client issues Partner with Producers to support client relationships, address service needs, and identify growth opportunities Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and policy information within the Applied Epic agency management system, including documentation and file attachments Process and monitor claims, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution Assist in remarketing existing accounts by gathering underwriting information and obtaining competitive quotes Support new business efforts by preparing submissions, marketing accounts, and developing proposals Contribute to account rounding initiatives to maximize coverage and client retention Manage billing inquiries and assist with collection of outstanding receivablesQualifications:
Active Minnesota or Wisconsin Property & Casualty license Minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience preferred Working knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage structures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by lawSchedule:
