POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Lines Associate role is responsible for customer service and recordkeeping. This position requires excellent data entry skills to maintain accurate policy records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ø Compares prior term policies to current year policies to identify and address discrepancies. Ø Collaborates with team members and/or company underwriters to address issues. Ø Answers requests for information from Producers, and underwriters about insurance coverage. Ø Promptly troubleshoots and addresses assigned policy issues. Ø Works directly with the insurance agents, team members, and underwriters to modify, update, and process insurance policies. Ø Reviews and verifies personal information including names, addresses, and other data to ensure the accuracy of insurance company . Ø Updates premiums as needed. Ø Manages database to maintain accurate client information. Ø Copies, collates, and prepares mailings and other correspondence. Ø Participates as needed in special department projects. Ø Assist Producers, underwriters, and managers in securing proposals for new and renewed business, client retention, account management, updating agency systems, certificates of insurance, policy changes, endorsements, inspection requests, billing and processing of payments. Ø Performs all other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE
Ø High school diploma or GED Ø Previous customer service experience is preferred Ø Previous data entry experience is preferred

Ø Frequently sit, stand and walk Ø Regularly required to talk or hear Ø Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls Ø Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Ø Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Ø Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus Ø The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Ø Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate
