About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Advisor to join a growing insurance organization. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused insurance professional who can understand business risks, recommend appropriate coverage solutions, develop new client relationships, and drive long-term account growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial insurance knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build trusted relationships with business owners and decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with business owners, executives, and commercial clients. Assess client business operations and identify potential exposures and insurance needs. Recommend customized commercial insurance programs based on client requirements and risk profiles. Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, community involvement, and existing relationships. Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and account acquisition. Develop strategies to expand existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional coverage. Maintain strong client relationships to support retention, renewals, and long-term account growth. Partner with internal service teams, insurance carriers, and risk management resources to develop effective client solutions. Stay current on commercial insurance products, underwriting trends, market conditions, and risk management practices. Prepare and present insurance proposals and coverage recommendations to clients and prospects. Maintain accurate client and prospect information within applicable agency systems and CRM tools. Provide a high level of responsiveness and professionalism throughout the client relationship. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, insurance sales, brokerage, or a related field. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverage concepts, and risk exposures. Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow a commercial book of business. Proven relationship-building and consultative selling skills. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into appropriate insurance solutions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects, clients, and opportunities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader team. Active insurance producer license or the ability to obtain the required license.
