Role Summary We are seeking a driven, self-motivated, and consultative Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the face of our agency, engaging with prospective clients, analyzing their insurance needs, and tailoring coverage solutions to protect their assets. You will build and maintain a pipeline of clients through active prospecting, warm leads, and referral networks. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Business Development:
Actively generate new business through cold calling, networking, local events, referrals, and following up on agency-provided leads.
Consultative Selling:
Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews with prospects to identify coverage gaps and present customized solutions (Auto, Home, Life, Business, etc.).
Relationship Management:
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty, retention, and cross-selling opportunities.
Quote & Bind Policies:
Accurately collect risk data, run quotes through multiple insurance carriers, present options, and bind policies in compliance with state regulations.
Customer Support Integration:
Collaborate with our customer service team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new policyholders.
Goal Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications & Requirements Licensing:
Active [Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life & Health (L&H)] insurance license in Nebraska (or the willingness to obtain licensing prior to start date).
Experience:
1 year of sales experience (insurance, financial services, or B2C sales preferred, but we will train the right candidate).
Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex policy details in a clear, digestible manner.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, AgencyZoom) and rating software is a plus.
