This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional with deep commercial lines expertise, strong carrier relationships, and a proactive approach to client service and account management. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of commercial insurance experience and be comfortable managing complex accounts across multiple industries. Surplus lines experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage and service a book of commercial lines business from renewal through policy issuance Prepare applications, marketing submissions, proposals, binders, certificates, endorsements, and policy documentation Coordinate renewals and remarketing efforts with carriers and underwriters Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and strategic account support Review policies for accuracy and coverage adequacy Assist clients with coverage questions, policy changes, audits, and claims support Work collaboratively with producers, carrier partners, and internal teams Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and state regulations Maintain accurate documentation and activity within the agency management system Qualifications Minimum 10 years of commercial lines insurance experience required Strong knowledge of commercial property & casualty insurance products and coverages Previous agency-side account management experience preferred Surplus lines experience strongly preferred Active Property & Casualty license required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience working with carrier portals and agency management systems Preferred Experience Experience handling mid-market or complex commercial accounts Familiarity with excess & surplus markets Experience supporting producers and managing carrier relationships Knowledge of AMS360 or similar agency management platforms is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health benefits Paid time off and holidays Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to grow with a dynamic and expanding insurance organization
