Role Description The Trusted Life Agent is a full-time, hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. In this role, the agent meets with prospective and existing clients to evaluate their insurance and retirement needs and recommend appropriate life, annuity, and related financial products. Typical responsibilities include conducting needs-based consultations, preparing quotes and proposals, processing applications, and following up to ensure timely policy issuance and ongoing client satisfaction. The agent maintains accurate records, adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements, and collaborates with internal teams and external carriers to resolve issues and support clients. Day-to-day work also involves building new client relationships through referrals and outreach, providing responsive customer service, and staying current on industry trends, product updates, and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage to effectively identify client needs and present suitable solutions. Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products and basic Finance principles to explain coverage options and retirement strategies clearly. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, maintain long-term relationships, and respond promptly to client inquiries. Relevant state life insurance license (or ability to obtain one promptly) and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements. Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, simple terms. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a client-facing advisory role is preferred but not required.
