Job Summary As an Altima Auto Insurance Agent , you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing all aspects of the insurance process. Your role includes quoting and selling insurance policies , processing payments , and assisting customers with their coverage needs. You will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers understand their options and receive the best possible service. Responsibilities Provide accurate insurance quotes for auto, home, and commercial policies. Sell and cross-sell insurance products to meet customer needs and agency sales goals. Process customer payments in person, over the phone, or electronically with accuracy and compliance. Assist customers with policy inquiries, changes, renewals, and coverage explanations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and policy options. Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency procedures in all transactions. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering professional and friendly service. Document all customer interactions, quotes, and transactions in the agency management system. Collaborate with team members to achieve office goals and contribute to a positive work environment. Keep a clean, organized, and professional workstation to ensure efficiency and present a welcoming environment for customers. Qualifications Prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer service strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Comfortable with quoting, selling, and handling payments in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using computers, agency management systems, and Microsoft Office tools. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to keep a clean and professional workstation. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to agency growth. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
