  • Join our dynamic team at Marketplace Insurance Exchange (MIEGI) as a Property & Casualty Licensed Insurance Agent, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional insurance solutions to our diverse clientele across Texas.
This energetic position offers the opportunity to leverage your sales expertise, communication skills, and P&C insurance knowledge to help individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. As a licensed agent at our Matlock office in Arlington, you will actively engage with new and existing customers, provide tailored Auto, Home, and Commercial insurance advice, and foster lasting relationships that drive growth and success — with the added advantage of cross-selling into our established health insurance book of clients. Duties
  • Quote and write new Property & Casualty policies including Auto, Home, and Business lines tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Service our existing P&C book of business by handling endorsements, renewals, billing inquiries, and claims support with professionalism and care.
  • Generate new business through a variety of channels, including warm cross-sell opportunities within our established health insurance customer base, as well as referrals, networking, self-sourced leads, and prospecting initiatives.
  • Negotiate coverage terms and premiums across a wide network of carriers to ensure mutual satisfaction and optimal protection for every client.
  • Manage sales administration tasks, including processing policies, updating client records in EZLynx, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing ongoing support throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Utilize analysis skills to assess client needs, recommend suitable insurance products, and tailor solutions across multiple carrier options.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify cross-sell opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of our Arlington location. Skills
  • Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license (required).
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in P&C insurance sales or service with a strong understanding of personal and commercial lines.
  • Strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.
  • Effective analysis skills for evaluating client needs and customizing insurance solutions.
  • Familiarity with EZLynx agency management system is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales administration processes and policy documentation practices.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly through customer service excellence and active listening.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the drive to grow a personal book of business.
