Once you're on board, you'll dive into our top-notch product and sales training, specially crafted for our agency. 2) Is prior insurance sales experience required? No. You don't need any prior knowledge about insurance. Having previous sales success is a major plus though! 3) Will I need to find or purchase my own leads? We provide plenty of leads for you to be successful. You are also welcome to offer service to your own circle of influence. 4) What is the company culture like? Our culture is all about healthy competition and high expectations. Everyone in our organization has an opportunity to advance within our organization to take on leadership roles. 6) Is this commission-only? Not at all. Our compensation plan is the most competitive in the state. You'll start with a base salary of $36,000 (After probationary period), plus receive a great commission plan on top of that. 7) What can I expect to make in my first year? Salary Range:
$73,800.00 - $93,800.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Career Growth Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Mon-Fri Schedule Hands on Training Requirements Texas General Lines Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required) Texas General Lines Life & Health Insurance License (Recommended) Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list) Meet new business production goals and objectives as established. Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales. Document each customer contact in eAgent. Take premium payments from customers. Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program. Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products. Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information. Return all phone messages promptly. Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members. Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements. Maintain knowledge of new products and services. Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources. Provide exceptional customer service and support. Be outstanding at relationship building.
