Responsibilities:
Acquire new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources. Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales. Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc. Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner. Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements. Maintain knowledge of new products. Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources. Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls. Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases. Ability to achieve high sales targets.
Requirements:
Honesty and has integrity Excellent written and verbal skills Proficiency to multi-task, follow-through and follow-up. Positive personality Resourceful Confident, self-starter who works well independently. Professional phone etiquette. Ability to obtain or possess an active Life & Health Insurance license. Strong work ethic Driven and goal-oriented individual. Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
