The Senior Account Manager is responsible for providing a superior level of professional service to new and existing clients in a timely and accurate manner. The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $65,000 to $90,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications. About the Role Assisting producer and marketing as needed in writing new and renewal accounts Verifying that all policies are bound with insurance companies in writing prior to or on the effective date of the policy Billing or binder billing all policies and renewals prior to or on the effective date of the policy Checking new business and renewal policies against applications and binders Keeping client and policy information in vision up to date according to office procedures Contacting insured as needed for collecting outstanding balances according to office procedures Working with customer service representatives to ensure that all endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates and other customer requests are handled in an accurate and timely manner according to the office procedures Keeping P & C license active and increasing insurance knowledge by attending continuing education classes Skills and experience you'll need: A successful candidate will have an active P&C license and a minimum of five years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, as well as the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook) Bonus points if you have: Previous working knowledge of Insurance Agency Management software programs, preferably Applied software Epic. Industry designations such as CIS, ACSR, or CISR are a plus.
