Compensation:
$36,000 base pay plus commission Job Summary Farmers Insurance District 07 is seeking motivated candidates for an Insurance Sales Representative / Licensed Insurance Sales Associate opportunity. This posting is designed to capture strong sales candidates with varying levels of insurance experience and licensing. Depending on background, experience, and qualifications, candidates may be considered for one of two sales-focused opportunities within the agency. This role is ideal for someone who is sales-minded, confident speaking with customers, strong with follow-up, and motivated by growth. Candidates with insurance licensing or prior insurance experience are encouraged to apply, but strong sales candidates who are willing to obtain licensing may also be considered. Responsibilities Quote and sell insurance products, including auto, home, life, and other personal lines products Contact and follow up with leads, referrals, and prospects Build relationships with new and existing clients Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage Cross-sell and round out accounts where appropriate Meet sales and activity goals Maintain accurate records in agency systems Participate in training, coaching, and team development Support agency growth through consistent production and follow-up Qualifications Sales experience preferred Insurance experience is helpful Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in a goal-driven environment Confident in making calls, following up, and asking for business Organized and dependable Coachable and willing to learn Property & Casualty license preferred Life license is a plus Willingness to obtain required insurance licensing if not currently licensed Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: sales-driven and motivated by results confident and professional with clients organized with strong follow-up habits interested in building a career in insurance comfortable in a performance-based environment open to growth within the agency and district Opportunity Paths Depending on background and qualifications, candidates may be considered for different sales opportunities within the agency, including licensed and non-licensed entry points.
