We specialize in providing personalized insurance solutions through a carefully selected network of top-rated insurance carriers. We are seeking a motivated, sales-focused professional to join our team full-time as an Insurance Sales Representative. This position is ideal for individuals with prior sales experience who are looking to build a long-term career in a stable and growing industry. An active Property & Casualty Insurance License is preferred but not required. Old Town Insurance Group will assist qualified candidates in obtaining the necessary licensing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and achieving goals. Our team works agency-provided leads generated through direct mail, digital marketing, referrals, and our existing client base. While this position does not involve cold calling, it does require consistent outbound communication with warm leads, prospects, referral opportunities, and existing clients. Prefer highly structured environments with little accountability for results. Preferred Qualifications Previous sales experience required. Insurance sales experience preferred but not required. Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, overcome objections, and close sales. Comfortable making outbound calls to warm leads and existing clients. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage a sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn agency systems and carrier platforms. Commitment to compliance, ethical conduct, and putting clients' interests first. Coachable attitude and desire to learn. Responsibilities Follow up with agency-provided leads and prospective clients. Build relationships with prospects and existing clients. Learn insurance products, coverages, carrier guidelines, and agency procedures. Quote, present, and sell personal insurance products including auto, home, renters, condo, and umbrella policies. Conduct coverage reviews and identify opportunities to better protect clients. Maintain accurate documentation and activity records within agency systems. Cross-sell and round out accounts when appropriate. Comply with carrier guidelines, agency procedures, licensing requirements, and all applicable insurance laws and regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale. Conduct all sales activities with honesty, professionalism, and integrity.
CompensationTotal Compensation Opportunity:
$60,000 - $100,000+ The compensation range shown represents total compensation opportunity, including base salary, commissions, and bonuses.
Base Salary:
$45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Uncapped commission structure. Performance bonuses. Advancement opportunities within a growing agency. Total earnings will vary based on individual production, sales performance, licensing progress, and tenure with the agency. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and satisfaction of any applicable carrier requirements. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
