JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary Provides support for Medicare growth and community engagement activities. Responsible for increasing membership through marketing of Molina Medicare products to dual eligible, Medicare-Medicaid recipients within approved market areas to achieve stated revenue, profitability and retention goals. Collaborates with key departments across the enterprise to improve product and brand awareness. Utilizes market research and analysis, and current products and services to increase member and community engagement. Essential Job Duties
  • Develops Medicare growth and community engagement strategies to procure referrals and other self-generated leads to meet sales and event targets through active participation in community events and targeted community outreach to group associations, community centers, senior centers, senior residences and other potential marketing sites.
  • Conducts business-to-business relationship building.
  • Generates member leads from referrals and local-tactical research and prospecting.
  • Schedules individual meetings and group presentations from assigned/self-generated leads.
  • Achieves/exceeds monthly enrollment or presentation/event targets.
  • Conducts presentations/events with potential customers, caregivers and/or decision makers on behalf of the beneficiary; customizes presentations and develops marketing and relationship building skills to increase rapport - assessing individual needs and communicating product features and differences.
  • Enrolls eligible individuals in Molina Medicare products; accurately and thoroughly completes and submits required enrollment documentation, consistent with Medicare requirements and enrollment guidelines, assists prospects in completion of the enrollment application, and forwards completed applications to appropriate administrative contact within 48 hours of sale.
  • Ensures Medicare beneficiaries accurately understand the product choices available to them, the enrollment process (eligibility requirements, Medicare review/approval of their enrollment application, timing of ID card receipt, etc.) and the service contacts and process.
  • Tracks all marketing and growth activities, updates and maintains prospects/leads and tracks daily, weekly and monthly results in Salesforce or other tracking systems.
  • Collaborates closely with local health plan leadership and applicable departments to identify and educate potential members, participate in provider promotional activities, and cultivate community partnerships. Required Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in managed care community engagement, marketing, operations, account services, and/or health care delivery, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Knowledge/understanding of community resources.
  • Customer service/sales skills.
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with senior citizens and low income individuals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, and relationship building skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency. Preferred Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Life & Health insurance license.
