The anticipated salary range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 hourly. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location. Core Responsibilities Contact insurance companies to identify issues related to unpaid claims, including review of insurance correspondence. Ability to edit and resubmit claims to various insurances either electronically or by paper. Document activities in various systems in an efficient accurate and timely manner. Ability to write appeal letters, evaluate and secure the needed documentation from medical providers to justify medical necessity. Consistently meet and attain required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Identify and report denial trends from payers. Perform other duties as required. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of medical collections/billing, or medical office front desk preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with MS Office and the ability to navigate multiple platforms. Ability to learn Byram products and therapies. Strong analytical and time management skills. Familiarity with medical terminology.
