Job Description We're seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to lead credit decisions across our residential transition loan (RTL), bridge, fix-and-flip, and ground-up construction portfolio. This is a high-impact position for someone who exercises sound judgment, not just follows a checklist. You'll evaluate each opportunity from end to end, analyzing the sponsor, collateral, construction budget, project feasibility, and exit strategy to ensure every deal meets our credit standards. As we grow, you'll also play a key role in refining our credit box, strengthening underwriting guidelines, and helping build the underwriting discipline that supports a best-in-class lending platform. This is an on-site position in Miami, working closely with our Origination, Processing, Closing, and Executive Leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Underwrite residential transition, bridge, fix-and-flip, and ground-up construction loans from initial review through final approval. Analyze borrower experience, creditworthiness, liquidity, financial strength, and overall project economics. Evaluate as-is value, after-repair value (ARV), loan-to-value (LTV), loan-to-cost (LTC), construction budgets, draw schedules, and project feasibility. Pressure-test exit strategies to ensure strong principal protection. Review appraisals, title commitments, insurance, and third-party reports for overall credit quality. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported credit memorandums for approval. Underwrite loans to both Lendyx credit standards and takeout program requirements to ensure files are complete, compliant, and saleable. Partner with leadership to enhance underwriting policies, credit guidelines, and operational workflows as the company scales. 80,000-120,000k We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
