The Assistant Underwriter is an entry level position in our insurance agency that works with our members to help them write business in our insurance programs (if you happen to be an experienced insurance CSR, we want to talk to you too!). Salary Range:

$37,500.00 - $40,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary Based on Experience Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Parental Leave Hands on Training Mon-Fri Schedule Retirement Plan Evenings Off Flexible Schedule Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements At least 1 year of professional office experience. Associates degree preferred. Experience in the insurance industry is a bonus. Ability to participate in insurance pre-licensing class and attain appropriate insurance license. Responsibilities Working within established procedures, help members underwrite, submit, service and write insurance policies for their clients. Review insurance applications for accuracy and input accurate information in our Salesforce based technology platform. Review correspondences for accuracy and ensure accounting transactions are correct. Build exceptional relationships based on fast, friendly, and accurate responses. Educate members on the insurance programs available and the systems they can utilize.
