Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Genesis team of underwriters Advance Genesis as a thought leader in the Public Entity and Education space Represent Genesis at internal and external conferences Business planning including setting underwriting strategy and goals to ensure long-term success and profitability of Genesis Coordinate and work closely with senior management, claims, USD, and related business services Attract and develop a high preforming team Develop and nurture new and established relationships with retail and wholesale brokers, reinsurance intermediaries, and clientsSkills:
Expertise in large and complex casualty insurance and reinsurance underwriting and pricing concepts and methodologies Team building and talent development Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders Capacity to lead a team and foster a sense of unity and collaboration Exemplary interpersonal and critical thinking skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude Role Qualifications and Experience Minimum fifteen years casualty re/insurance experience with prior leadership experience Track record of successfully leading a collaborative and high performing team Knowledge of public entity and education markets and its key players is preferred Salary Range 217,500.00- 362,500.
