This role plays a key part in day-to-day transportation operations by supervising drivers, dispatching loads, and resolving service issues in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Sunday -
Thursday:
8:00am - 5:00pm What You'll Do Supervise and support drivers through coaching, planning, work assignments, and performance management Dispatch drivers based on available equipment and load requirements Route drivers to destinations in accordance with company policies and procedures Balance driver time-off requests with operational freight needs Communicate regularly with drivers to improve productivity and reduce turnover Monitor driver logbook hours to ensure compliance with DOT regulations Track loads from dispatch to delivery and resolve service-related issues Travel as needed to support operations Build and maintain positive working relationships across teams Follow and execute instructions accurately Maintain consistent, reliable attendance Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions Proven supervisory and leadership abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 3-4 years of related experience and/or training Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered Physical Requirements Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds Ability to travel as required Why Join Us?
