WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Platform Strategy & Transformation + Develop and lead the long-term strategy for Amcor's rigid extrusion and thermoforming platform + Identify and prioritize capability, capacity, technology, and operational investments required to support future growth + Lead multi-generation platform roadmaps addressing sustainability, recycled content, material transitions, manufacturing technology, and productivity improvements + Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities and investment direction Growth & Business Leadership + Drive profitable growth by aligning platform capabilities with customer, market, and business needs + Provide strategic guidance on customer opportunities, network capacity, and manufacturing capabilities + Support commercial teams in evaluating growth opportunities and strategic customer decisions + Translate market trends into actionable platform strategies and investment plans Capital & Network Optimization + Lead development of business cases for major capital investments + Evaluate manufacturing network capabilities, constraints, and long-term capacity requirements + Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, operational performance, and profitability + Recommend and prioritize investments that strengthen competitive position and drive business results Cross-Functional Leadership + Serve as the primary strategic leader for the rigid extrusion and thermoforming platform + Lead and influence cross-functional teams spanning Operations, Engineering, R D, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial organizations + Align resources and priorities to execute critical initiatives + Communicate recommendations and strategic direction to senior leadership teams •

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field + 5+ years of experience across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, R D, Product Management, Asset Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines + Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial technologies + Demonstrated business acumen and ability to connect technical decisions to financial outcomes + Proven ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional initiatives + Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior leaders + Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term vision with practical execution •
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- + Packaging, plastics, thermoforming, extrusion, or related manufacturing experience + Capital project development and investment analysis + Network optimization and manufacturing strategy + Product commercialization and technology deployment + Multi-site manufacturing environments
