Job Description
As a Commercial Portfolio Manager II at North Easton Savings Bank, you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. You will analyze credit risk, structure lending solutions, and monitor portfolio performance to balance growth and asset quality. Partnering with relationship managers, you will deepen client relationships, support innovative life sciences enterprises, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of commercial clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors for North Easton Savings Bank Analyze credit risk, financial performance, and capital needs of biotech and pharma clients Structure and recommend lending solutions aligned with risk policies and regulatory requirements Collaborate with relationship managers and underwriting teams to grow and retain profitable portfolios Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signs, and implement risk mitigation strategies Prepare reports, forecasts, and presentations for leadership on portfolio trends and opportunities Engage with clients to understand strategic plans and align banking products to support growth Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and documentation standards Support process improvements and data-driven decision-making in portfolio management Mentor junior staff and contribute to an innovative, collaborative team culture Required Skills Commercial credit analysis Financial statement analysis Portfolio risk management Biotech and pharma industry knowledge Loan structuring and underwriting Regulatory and compliance knowledge Financial modeling (Excel) Data analysis and reporting Client relationship management Presentation and communication skills
