Job Description:

This is a newly elevated senior leadership role within a private investment platform's fund finance function, created to support continued platform expansion and increased complexity across global investment vehicles. The position sits at the intersection of finance, accounting, structuring, and investment operations, supporting multiple private equity strategies across North America and co-investment/strategic capital activities. The individual will operate as a key decision-maker within the finance organization, interacting regularly with senior investment professionals, external auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and offshore service providers. The role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise, investment structuring capability, and financial analysis rigor. This is a high-visibility position with significant ownership and long-term leadership potential. Core Responsibilities 1. Investment Structuring & Transaction Support Support structuring of cross-border investment vehicles, including offshore holding entities and related legal structures Prepare acquisition-level cash flow models for new investments and follow-on transactions Coordinate transfer and allocation of assets into investment holding companies and related entities Calculate and validate distribution waterfalls, including carried interest allocations, IRR, and MOIC outcomes Prepare investor-facing communications related to realizations and distribution of proceeds Interface with offshore administrators and registry agents to ensure accuracy of entity-level records 2. Financial Planning & Analysis Review and refine valuation frameworks using income and market-based methodologies, coordinating with investment teams Act as a liaison between investment professionals and external audit firms during valuation and financial statement reviews Lead annual budgeting process for operating expenses and investment-related income streams Prepare monthly variance analysis and reporting packages for senior leadership Coordinate tax-related reviews with external advisors and support audit inquiries with relevant authorities 3. Treasury & Cash Management Manage account onboarding processes, including compliance and identity verification procedures Oversee movement of capital related to acquisitions, exits, and distributions Review cash positioning and perform reconciliations across multiple banking relationships 4. Fund Accounting & Reporting Oversight Interpret governing investment agreements to ensure compliance with allocation and reporting terms Review financial statements prepared under applicable accounting frameworks (US

depending on vehicle) Oversee capital account statements, capital calls, and distribution reporting prepared by external administrators Review and approve quarterly reporting workpapers and capital event calculations Coordinate fund-level audits with external audit firms and ensure timely completion Oversee coordination of fund-level tax filings with external tax advisors Leadership Scope Serve as a senior finance leader within the fund finance organization Act as escalation point for complex accounting, structuring, and reporting issues Interface directly with internal investment leadership and external service providers Contribute to development of processes, controls, and scalable reporting infrastructure Qualifications & Experience Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a strong academic institution CPA designation 10+ years of experience in private equity fund finance, fund administration, or closely related investment finance environment Strong technical understanding of partnership accounting, fund structures, and performance allocation mechanics Experience working with offshore structures and multi-jurisdictional investment vehicles Strong exposure to fund audits, valuation processes, and investor reporting cycles Proven ability to operate in a senior stakeholder environment with both internal and external counterparties
