ROLE The Investment & Fundraising Manager will play a critical role in driving the school's financial sustainability by identifying, developing, and securing investment and funding opportunities. This role requires strong financial acumen, investor relations skills, and the ability to connect with private equity, venture capital, and high-net-worth individuals interested in the education sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and pursue potential investors, donors, and strategic partners to support school funding. Develop and execute a fundraising and investment strategy aligned with the school's growth objectives. Prepare investor presentations, financial models, and proposals to attract capital. Build and maintain relationships with investors, private funds, family offices, and financial institutions. Support negotiations, due diligence, and structuring of investment deals. Track market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in education investment. Collaborate closely with the CFO and CEO to align financial strategy with investment initiatives. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to fundraising and investments.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred). 7+ years of experience in fundraising, investment banking, private equity, or investor relations. Proven track record in securing investments or funding for start-ups or growth-stage organizations. Strong financial modeling and presentation skills. Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship management abilities. Passion for education and social impact investment is highly desirable. Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage. Adaptable to a fast-paced international school environment.
