Competitive Package Based in New York About Our Client Client is a fast-growing fintech firm Job Description Portfolio Manager Responsibilities As part of the clients registered investment advisory business, you will oversee discretionary portfolios of structured investments, making independent buy and sell decisions while managing overall portfolio performance. This is a true buy-side role with the opportunity to develop an investment track record as the firm's assets under management grow significantly in the coming years.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing structured product portfolios on a discretionary basis. Executing investment decisions aligned with portfolio objectives and client mandates. Monitoring market developments, portfolio performance, and risk exposures. Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure investment solutions meet client needs. Investment Specialist Responsibilities Supporting clients analytics platform, you will serve as a subject matter expert on structured investments, helping to enhance the firm's technology, analytics, and modeling capabilities. Your investment expertise will directly shape products used by major wealth management institutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Advancing investment analytics, methodologies, and valuation models. Partnering with product and engineering teams to integrate structured product expertise into technology solutions. Advising clients on best practices for utilizing clients analytics platform. Addressing complex investment-related inquiries and providing analytical insights. Collaborating with sales teams on pricing discussions and product support The Successful Applicant Minimum of 3 years of experience in structured investments, structured products, or equity derivatives. Background as a structured products structurer, financial engineer, portfolio manager, or similar role. Strong knowledge of retail structured products, including autocallables and reverse convertibles, along with their associated risk characteristics. Experience designing, pricing, and developing equity-linked structured product solutions. Solid understanding of derivatives valuation, options theory, hedging strategies, and pricing methodologies.
