Our client, a respected bank in your area, is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Officer to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop new commercial loan business, structure and close deals, and manage a diverse portfolio while representing the bank in the community. 🔍- Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate client needs and tailor financial solutions including commercial loans and other banking products.
- Actively promote and cross-sell the full range of banking services to meet client goals.
- Provide prompt, professional responses to client inquiries within 24 hours.
- Maintain strong relationships with current clients to foster goodwill and enhance business growth.
- Participate in networking activities such as community events, Chambers of Commerce, and cultivate relationships with centers of influence.
- Achieve monthly call and outreach targets through warm and cold prospecting.
- Prepare detailed credit analyses, loan memos, and ensure loan documentation is complete and accurate.
- Manage timely loan closings and client communications regarding account status.
- Coordinate with operations to resolve credit and account issues efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to all banking compliance regulations. 🎯
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in banking or financial services.
- Proven track record working with customers at diverse organizational levels, including business owners and managers.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong underwriting experience including proposal preparation and credit analysis.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. 🌟
- Preferred Experience
- Handling loan sizes averaging $500K, with portfolio exposure to $3M to $10M commercial and industrial loans.
- Experience with a diverse credit portfolio.
- Bringing an existing portfolio is a plus. 🎁
