Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our team and play a vital role in facilitating smooth real estate transactions. As an Escrow Officer, you will oversee the escrow process from start to finish, ensuring all parties meet contractual obligations while adhering to federal and state regulations. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex financial and legal procedures confidently, providing exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of each transaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, client-focused environment where accuracy, compliance, and excellent communication are key. Duties Manage the entire escrow process, including opening, processing, and closing real estate transactions with precision and efficiency Review and verify all documentation such as purchase agreements, loan documents, contracts, and disclosures to ensure compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and Fair Housing regulations Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients to gather necessary information for loan underwriting and approval Prepare and review escrow instructions, settlement statements, and closing disclosures in accordance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) requirements Conduct thorough credit analysis and assist in loan processing by evaluating borrower financials, including basic math calculations for income verification and debt-to-income ratios Ensure adherence to mortgage servicing standards and loan origination procedures throughout the escrow process Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including 10 key typing for data entry accuracy and escrow documentation Requirements Proven experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the financial services or mortgage industry Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, loan origination procedures, and mortgage servicing standards Familiarity with TILA regulations, contracts law, banking practices, and Fair Housing regulations Excellent credit analysis skills combined with proficiency in loan processing workflows Ability to perform basic math accurately for financial calculations related to escrow accounts and loan figures Skilled in using escrow software systems and performing 10 key typing with high accuracy Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure compliance and prevent errors Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders Join us as an Escrow Officer if you're passionate about delivering seamless real estate transactions while upholding the highest standards of compliance.
