Escrow Assistant

Unisource National Lender Services, a national title insurance and escrow company licensed in 43 states, is seeking a experienced Escrow Assistant to work onsite. You will work with national mortgage lenders in the processing of refinance transactions and helping with disbursements. Job Responsibilities As an Escrow Assistant, you will be involved in aspects of the closing process for mortgage refinancing and disbursements.

Your specific duties will include:

Review and preparing estimated Consumer Disclosures (CDs). Ensuring that the CDs are properly balanced and that they are correctly going to the proper creditor. Reviewing disbursements to get them out timely and correctly. Marking the actions completed in our system. Using third party verification system to confirm correct wire information Reissuing checks and stop pays as requested by customers Responding in a timely, professional and courteous manner to any customer inquiries Job Requirements. Specific qualifications for the Escrow Officer position include: Minimum of 2 years' experience processing escrow files Experience with preparing / producing HUDs and balancing a refinance transaction Extreme attention to detail and able to respond to a high volume of e-mails Benefits We value and appreciate your hard work and professional dedication as a Escrow Officer and will reward you with a compensation package that includes competitive salary and benefits.
