Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Communicate with prospective borrowers by phone, email, and other approved communication methods Follow up with new and existing leads Build relationships with prospective clients and identify their financial needs Educate prospective borrowers about available mortgage and reverse mortgage programs Assist borrowers with the initial loan application process Gather preliminary borrower and property information Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients throughout the sales process Accurately document client interactions and update information within the company's CRM and loan systems Work closely with licensed Loan Officers, processors, and other members of the operations team Develop an understanding of mortgage products, lending guidelines, and applicable compliance requirements Participate in company-provided training and licensing preparation Meet individual activity, follow-up, and production goals Maintain a professional and positive experience for prospective and existing clients Perform other sales and loan-origination-related duties as assignedQualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong, friendly, and professional phone presence Comfortable speaking with new people and prospective customers over the phone throughout the workday Confident initiating conversations with individuals you have not previously spoken with Comfortable working and speaking on the phone in an active, collaborative sales environment with other Loan Officers working nearby Personable and conversational, with the ability to build rapport and make prospective clients feel comfortable Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, positive, and goal-oriented Comfortable receiving coaching and developing sales and communication skills Strong organizational and follow-up skills Good computer and technology skills , including the ability to type efficiently, navigate multiple computer programs, enter information accurately, and learn new software Comfortable using email, web-based applications, CRM systems, and other common business technology Ability to learn new systems, mortgage products, and processes Reliable and able to work a full-time, in-office schedule Willingness and ability to obtain required Mortgage Loan Originator licensing Preferred, but not required: Previous sales experience Customer service experience Telephone sales or call center experience Prior sales or mortgage experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is personable, comfortable on the phone, technologically capable, motivated to learn, and interested in developing a career in mortgage sales. Licensing & Training Ennkar, Inc. will provide training and assist selected candidates with obtaining the licensing required to become a Mortgage Loan Originator. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to build a career in the mortgage industry. Successful candidates will have the ability to grow from a Junior Loan Officer into a producing Loan Officer with substantial commission-based earning potential.
