This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with all parties involved in the transaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple files in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a smooth and timely closing process. Key Responsibilities Manage escrow files from opening through closing, ensuring all contract terms, timelines, and conditions are met Serve as the primary point of contact for agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers Prepare and review closing documents, including settlement statements and escrow instructions Coordinate with all parties to ensure a smooth and timely closing Maintain and oversee escrow trust accounts in compliance with state and company regulations Perform daily, weekly, and monthly 3-way reconciliations (bank, book, and file balances) Identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner Ensure proper handling and disbursement of all escrow funds, including wires and checks Follow established fraud prevention and wire verification procedures Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready files Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements Assist with audits and internal reviews as needed Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as an Escrow Officer Knowledge of the escrow process from opening to closing Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities High level of attention to detail and accuracy Experience with Streamline SMS Preferred Qualifications Experience with trust account management and reconciliation processes Familiarity with compliance and audit procedures Knowledge of state-specific escrow regulations What We're Looking For Someone who can manage transactions efficiently and independently A team player with a strong sense of accountability A professional who maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to stay organized and perform well under deadlines
