  • Full-time What You'll Do This position develops, evaluates and recommends approval of customer applications for commercial loans.
Develops, manages, and enhances relationships with new and existing commercial banking/lending clients, including large, complex commercial relationships, manages and deepens a growing portfolio of clients to meet or exceed established portfolio growth goals. Responsibilities Include Generate new loan opportunities from both existing portfolio clients and outside sources Originate and renew Commercial & Industrial loans as well as Owner Occupied Real Estate loans Promote and cross-sell other Bank products and services as appropriate to customers Interview applicant and request specified information for loan application Request applicant's financial statements and other information pertinent to loan applicant's evaluation Compile loan package and facilitate negotiation of loan structure with applicants, including fees, loan repayment options, and other credit terms Review applicant financial status, credit and collateral evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan after receiving application back from Credit Services department Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on commercial borrowing requests Demonstrate sound judgment in recommending loans for approval or decline Monitors portfolio for quality, risk, and adherence to policy. Works closely with Commercial Banking Leadership and Credit Administration to ensure sound portfolio management, client introductions and timely resolution of issues. Ensure loan documents are complete and accurate according to policy Active involvement in community organizations and activities Qualifications HS Diploma or GED Required Bachelor's degree in business or a related field from four-year college or university preferred; and Minimum of 5 years' related experience in commercial lending and strong understanding of underwriting standards for commercial loans required Strong technical skill with expertise in Microsoft office Deep understanding of commercial bank programs What You'll Need to be Successful Communication
