Title Assistant Wanted
  • Panther Title LLC (West Palm Beach, FL) Panther Title LLC is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Title Assistant/Processor to join our West Palm Beach office.
This is a full-time position for someone who already has hands-on title, escrow, or real estate closing experience and is ready to hit the ground running. About the Role As a Title Assistant, you'll manage real estate files from contract to closing, ordering and reviewing title work, clearing issues that stand in the way of a clean closing, and coordinating with everyone involved in the transaction to keep files moving on schedule. Responsibilities
  • Open new files and order title searches; review title commitments for liens, judgments, easements, probate issues, and other encumbrances
  • Work to clear title exceptions and resolve outstanding issues prior to closing
  • Order mortgage payoff statements from lenders
  • Request HOA/condo estoppel letters and run municipal lien searches for code violations or unpaid utilities
  • Communicate regularly with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to gather documents and information needed to close
  • Prepare closing documents, including the Closing Disclosure/settlement statement, deed, and affidavits
  • Enter and track file data in title production software (SoftPro, ResWare, or similar)
  • Schedule closings and coordinate last-minute issue resolution with the closer or attorney
  • Handle post-closing tasks: recording the deed and mortgage with the county, clearing remaining conditions, and issuing the final title insurance policy Qualifications
  • Prior experience in title insurance, escrow, or real estate closing required
  • Familiarity with Florida title and closing procedures
  • Experience with title production software (Qualia, or comparable) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable communicating with lenders, agents, attorneys, and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
Pay:
$50,990.02
  • $60,000.
