Job Description

Internal Mortgage Loan Originator - Mortgages Department; Collinsville Branch Banking Full-Time Mortgages Scott Credit Union is hiring a Internal Mortgage Loan Originator in Collinsville, IL to help guide our members through the home financing process while strengthen our connection with the community. Fully on-site at the Collinsville, IL office. About the Role Responsible for soliciting residential mortgages from various sources including realtors, builders, financial professionals, existing and potential new members; providing mortgage support to branches; producing high quality loans which meet SCU guidelines while providing exceptional member service. Quote current mortgage interest rates and provide closing cost information. Request and/or collect applicable documentation from each loan applicant and forward file to Mortgage Loan Processor within twenty-four hours of loan application. Maintain up to date knowledge of SCU product offerings and cross-sell the services of the Credit Union with each individual member, when applicable. Attend and participate in all meetings as required by management. Be available for mortgage appointments as needed at various branch locations. Always maintain a professional posture and positive attitude, to enhance member relations and enrich service delivery. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two years' experience in customer services or sales Working knowledge of personal computers Is This You?
