Responsibilities:
Prepare credit presentations for SBA loan transactions. The presentations must include a thorough analysis of the financial condition of applicant and guarantor. Accurately reviews financial statements and tax returns submitted by applicant and is capable of evaluating a borrower's ability to repay. Recognizes trends, positive or negative, impacting risk to repayment, the Bank's collateral position or ability of the business to satisfactorily operate. Partner with lenders to proactively manage and service the SBA loan portfolio with the assistance of SBA's lender portal information. Recommends risk rating adjustments, higher or lower, supported by changes in the borrower's financial condition, collateral or other factors impacting the credit's risk. Independently analyze credit and financial information of property and individuals to determine the degree of risk associated with the extension of credit Develop a working knowledge of credit/loan policy for credit requests and exceptions Continually improve SBA product knowledge. Complete all required compliance training in a timely manner and perform other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the bank. Perform collateral analysis of current and prospective customers Manage covenant compliance testing and maintain annual reviews as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of SBA experience; servicing and liquidation experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Formal Bank credit training is preferred, with a strong understanding of general credit and risk principles, and banking policies/procedures Must have excellent time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and customer service skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office products Benefits Medical Insurance
