This job is primarily responsible for analyzing farm and ranch financial information, agricultural production data, industry trends, and providing recommendations and decisions on credit actions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working directly with the sales team and producers to understand their farming operation and goals and develop loan structures that help them meet those needs, compiling information received into loan analysis software in an accurate and timely fashion, verify and complete necessary due diligence to make loan recommendations and presentations for approval, as well as loan decisions, consistent with organizational policies and procedures. In this job, you will: Analyze farm and ranch financial information, analyze farm crop and livestock production information, as well as identify historical trends. Synthesize complex financial information into clear, understandable analysis. Manage workflow to ensure response (approve, decline or other contact) within required timeline. Inspect (in person) farm and ranch operations to obtain key information as it relates to the management and asset quality, when necessary. Exhibit creativity in developing solutions that meet their needs and fit within the program guidelines. Establish and maintain working relationships with various internal staff and external partners. Maintain contact with various loan conduits in the industry. Process and underwrite loans consistent with corporate standards, through verification and due diligence. Exhibit qualities consistent with company philosophies to ensure exemplary levels of service to all parties. Other duties as assigned. Here's what you'll need to be considered: Education Required - Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field. Experience Preferred - Agricultural experience and/or background. Experience with commercial lending concepts. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization. Exceptional analytical and strategic problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Exemplary customer service skills. Ability to learn products, lending standards and guidelines and how to apply them. Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment. Environmental Conditions The work environment described here are meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment. Travel required both regionally and nationally, for producer visits, educational development, or training for corporate business partners; up to 25%. The expected base pay range for this role is: $71,939.00 - $94,960.00 Actual pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including work location, job-related knowledge, skills and relevant experience for the job.
