Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title/Escrow Officer to join our dynamic real estate team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the entire escrow process, ensuring smooth and accurate transactions from start to finish. Your expertise in real estate law, title processing, and research will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and facilitating seamless property closings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative law office environment, supporting clients and agents through complex real estate transactions with professionalism and precision. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process escrow documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct thorough research on property titles using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools and other resources to verify ownership and identify potential issues. Coordinate with title insurance companies, lenders, agents, and clients to facilitate timely closings. Manage the title processing workflow, including document preparation, review, and recordation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the escrow process. Maintain accurate records of all transaction documents, correspondence, and reports for audit readiness. Collaborate with the law office team to ensure adherence to legal standards related to real estate transactions. Qualifications Proven experience in title processing, escrow administration, or a law office specializing in real estate law. Strong research skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and property records effectively. Knowledge of GIS technology for property analysis is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and clear communication abilities. Familiarity with the escrow process, title insurance procedures, and relevant legal requirements. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
