Robert Half Escrow & Insurance Assistant Needham, MA Apply Description We are looking for an experienced Escrow & Insurance Assistant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing escrow processes and insurance tracking within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and loan administration, coupled with a deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute quarterly escrow processing and ensure timely completion of annual escrow analysis.
- Monitor hazard and flood insurance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accuracy in billing.
- Handle insurance tracking, including billing and payments for private insurance and other related policies.
- Maintain adherence to critical deadlines for escrow and insurance-related tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage property tax billing and payments effectively.
- Review and process title escrow documents, ensuring all legal and compliance standards are met.
- Oversee the implementation of Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) guidelines within escrow operations.
- Support loan administration activities, focusing on commercial real estate transactions.
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy in escrow accounts.
- Provide guidance and expertise on trust and estate property tax matters. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in escrow processing, insurance administration, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate and title escrow procedures.
- Familiarity with property tax, trust and estate tax regulations, and billing processes.
- Strong understanding of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in handling loan administration and private insurance tracking.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data with accuracy.
