Modern office setting Growth opportunities Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to loan officers by managing and coordinating the loan officer process . Responsibilities- Assist Loan Officers in conducting thorough financial assessments of loan applicants to determine eligibility and risk level. Run DU and LP. Lock Loans. Complete the lender package for client signatures and send the file to processing.
- Evaluate credit worthiness by analyzing financial information such as income, assets, debts, and credit history.
- Knowledge of Fannie/Freddie/VA/RD/FHA guidelines is required
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State Regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process and address any inquiries or concerns promptly Requirements
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Fannie/Freddie/VA/RD/FHA is required
- Experience in credit analysis, loan origination
- Knowledge of industry guidelines and financial services industry practices
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance
