Commercial Loan Officer A well-established community bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join its growing lending team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven lender who enjoys building long-term relationships, structuring sound credit, and playing a meaningful role in the local business community. Position Overview The Commercial Loan Officer will be responsible for developing and managing a commercial loan portfolio while serving as a trusted advisor to business owners and professionals across the market. The ideal candidate brings strong production history, disciplined credit skills, and a relationship-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial loans, including C&I, owner-occupied CRE, and investor real estate Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking, and community involvement Structure credit requests, analyze financial statements, and present loans for approval Partner closely with credit administration, underwriting, and loan operations teams Maintain strong asset quality and portfolio performance Cross-sell deposit, treasury management, and other bank services Represent the bank professionally within the local business community Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience in a bank or credit environment Proven ability to originate and manage commercial relationships Strong understanding of credit analysis, cash flow, and risk management Experience working within a community or regional bank preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills What the Bank Offers Competitive base salary with a performance-based incentive plan Strong local decision-making and credit support Stable, relationship-driven culture with long-tenured leadership Opportunity to grow an existing book and expand market presence Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off Qualified candidates can apply directly or call: wendy.hicks@gogpac.com 605-403-5157
