Job Description
This position may be located at our Stockman branch in Stevensville or Hamilton.
Strong credit analysis and decision making skills.
Strong time-management skills with ability to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong communication computer skills.
Previous Bank and/or sales experience helpful.
Maintain an extensive knowledge of loan and non-deposit services by studying product information, bulletins, regulations and updates. Attend periodic training sessions and stay abreast of new procedures, marketing techniques, rules and regulations.
Understanding and compliance with SB/SFC lending policies and procedures and documentation of consumer loans.
Origination of new and renewal consumer loans.
Lien filings and insurance follow-up.
Responsible for regulatory compliance all consumer loans.
Credit card lending and overdraft protection. Review and make credit decisions on new applications.
Review lines of credit for potential increase, decrease or adverse action.
Student Loans have knowledge of MGSLP and MHESAC.Train back-up in Consumer Lending when directed. 2.
Direct contact with delinquent borrowers.
Recommendations for definite plans of action for collection of difficult accounts.
Regular reporting of delinquent loans and loans in jeopardy.
Monitor past due totals and percentages and report to Senior Management.
Supervision and record keeping of property held for resale.
Develop and implement disposal plans.
Adherence to loan limits.
Regular contact with merchants who might refer business to Stockman Bank.
Call on prospective direct loan customers.
Refer potential customer to other Bank personnel as appropriate.
Loan activity should be covered by insurance products when applicable.
Assist with development of new programs and products for consumer loan customers.
New ideas for generation of income.
Monitor our competition as to rates and prices.
Assistance with information of price changes.

Generate and administer a high-quality Consumer Loan Portfolio consistent with established lending policies.Education, Experience and Certification RequirementsNote:

Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.4 years business related college degree and/or equivalent experience.1-3 years consumer underwriting and/or lending experience.Strong credit analysis and decision making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous lending/underwriting experience.Previous Bank and/or sales experience helpful.
Dimension of Job:
Responsible for Consumer Loan Portfolio. Will have extensive public or telephone contact and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank. This position may be called upon to call (telephone, personal visit or letter) on customers or prospective customers and/or to participate with community organizations and community projects. Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies 1.
