$95,000 - $130,000 DOE First International Bank & Trust is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to join our team in Williston, North Dakota. This role is ideal for an experienced banking professional who is ready to grow business relationships, manage a commercial loan portfolio, and help local businesses achieve their financial goals. As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business customers while partnering with credit and banking teams to deliver sound lending solutions. You'll combine relationship management, credit analysis, and business development skills to support portfolio growth and strengthen the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with commercial customers, prospects, and referral sources. Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities. Analyze commercial loan requests, financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and other credit information. Structure and negotiate lending solutions that align with customer needs and bank objectives. Partner with internal teams to prepare loan presentations and complete underwriting requirements. Monitor portfolio performance, including financial reporting, covenant compliance, and risk indicators. Review delinquent accounts and collaborate with customers to identify appropriate solutions. Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions, industry trends, and commercial lending products. Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and sound lending practices. Represent the bank in the community while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agriculture Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Commercial lending, business banking, credit analysis, agricultural banking, or related financial services experience preferred, with approximately 4-8 years of experience is ideal. Ability to analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit risk. Understanding of commercial lending products, loan documentation, and credit structures. Strong communication, relationship-building, and business development skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage multiple priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of the Williston market and surrounding business community is preferred.
