Farmers and Merchants Bank is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Commercial Loan Officer to join our lending team. This position is responsible for originating, underwriting, servicing, and managing commercial and agricultural loan relationships in a professional, accurate, and customer-centered manner. The successful candidate will work closely with business and agricultural customers to understand their financing needs, analyze financial information, structure appropriate credit solutions, and maintain a high-quality loan portfolio. This role also supports deposit growth, portfolio monitoring, loan servicing, collections, and compliance with Bank lending policies and applicable state and federal regulations. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of banking, commercial lending, credit analysis, or related experience required.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, tax return analysis, loan structuring, collateral evaluation, and credit risk management.
- Knowledge of agricultural, commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing preferred.
- Understanding of applicable lending regulations, compliance requirements, and Bank lending policies.
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-directed, motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and accuracy.
