ON-SITE, NO REMOTE OR HYBRID OPTIONS - NEWARK, OH
Our client is a nationally recognized real estate services organization providing title insurance, escrow, closing, and transaction support solutions for residential and commercial real estate professionals, lenders, builders, and homeowners across the U.S. They are searching for an Escrow Officer to join their Newark, OH team ASAP!
Salary:
$60-70k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + full comprehensive benefits
Job Summary:
A growing real estate services and settlement organization is seeking an Escrow Officer to support residential real estate transactions from contract through closing. This role is responsible for coordinating closings, preparing and reviewing escrow documentation, managing escrow funds, and ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and attorneys.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate residential real estate closings Prepare escrow instructions, settlement documents, and closing packages Review title and escrow documentation for accuracy and completeness Manage escrow accounts and disbursement of funds in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements Communicate with clients, lenders, attorneys, and real estate professionals throughout the transaction process Ensure deadlines are met and transactions close on schedule Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions Maintain accurate records and support compliance with internal procedures and state regulations
Qualifications:
Experience in escrow, title, or real estate closing coordination preferred Knowledge of residential real estate transactions and closing procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment Notary Public certification preferred or willingness to obtain Experience with escrow/title software platforms is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; additional industry certifications are a plus
