Position Summary The Loan Document Administrator ensures that commercial and residential loan documentation is executed accurately and in compliance with loan approvals and bank policies and procedures, and meets required legal and regulatory guidelines. Essential Functions
- Review in-house and attorney prepared pre-closing and modification documentation for commercial loans to ensure loans are documented in compliance with the presentation/approval and that the appraisal, environmental reports, and insurance requirements, and any special conditions are satisfied.
- Review entity documentation for borrowers and guarantors.
- Provide status updates to lending staff and bank counsel identifying points of exposure and inefficiency and solutions.
- Review closed loan documentation to ensure receipt and proper execution of all required documents; contact appropriate individuals for follow up when necessary.
- Prepare and disseminate regularly scheduled reports.
- Communicate with attorneys on a regular basis to ensure prompt closing of loans.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and training, reviewing professional publications, staying informed of any legal, policy and procedural changes relating to commercial and residential loan documentation and lending.
- Assist Senor Loan Administrator with appraisal oversight during his/her absence. Job Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in commercial lending administration.
- Paralegal training/experience a plus Licenses and Certifications
- Paralegal certification a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong to expert knowledge of commercial loan documentation and processes.
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting concepts.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand new information and apply it to current and future job functions, problem solving, and decision making.
- Ability to collaborate and relate well to all kinds of people, build appropriate rapport and constructive, effective relationships, and use tact and diplomacy to handle situations comfortably.
- Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret legal documents.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from senior management, and attorneys.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to speak and write clearly in order to effectively convey information so that others understand and as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
