A Loan Officer assists customers who apply for loans, and solicits loan applications on behalf of a bank, mortgage broker or other lender. Markets products and provides information on types of loans available, gathers financial and credit information needed to evaluate loan applications; guides the application and approval process. May specialize in loans to businesses or individuals, or in loans to buy real estate.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lender to join our team. As a Commercial Lender you will provide commercial and financial expertise while building trust-based customer relationships. Over time, customers view you as a trusted advisor, offering valuable insights to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their business operations. In this role, you will promote Southwest Capital Bank's loan and deposit services, tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of portfolio and prospective clients.
This position requires:
Thorough understanding of commercial loan policy and procedures, as well as numerous federal regulations. Attention to detail with the ability to properly document and prepare required loan information. Competency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or directly related experience. 5 years' + experience as a Commercial Loan Officer.
