Utilize Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and financial software to process loans efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations. Build strong relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and personalized service to foster client trust and retention. Stay current on industry knowledge of mortgage services, banking regulations, and financial compliance to provide accurate guidance. Support mortgage servicing activities by managing escrow accounts, loan processing tasks, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations. Skills Excellent negotiation skills combined with a strong sales aptitude to promote financial products confidently. Proficiency in Quicken, accounting software, and other financial tools for managing client accounts and loan processing. Knowledge of mortgage lending procedures, underwriting standards, and compliance requirements such as TILA and Fair Housing laws. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for credit analysis, loan structuring, and financial assessments. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear client communication and relationship building in financial sales environments. Familiarity with Loan Officer experience or retail lending practices enhances understanding of industry standards. Strong understanding of banking regulatory compliance including FNMA guidelines, mortgage servicing protocols, escrow management, and loan contracts.
