Job Description:

In this role, you will be assisting the sales team with follow up, document collection, file set up and pipeline management. The Loan Officer Assistant will provide reliable support to the sales team so they can remain in the field generating new business. This is a hybrid position and may require in office attendance when requested by your lead.

Responsibilities:

Application Assistance:

Assist clients with completing mortgage applications, collecting required documentation, and submitting paperwork to lenders. Ensure accuracy and completeness of application materials to expedite the loan approval process.

Communication and Follow-Up:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the loan process, providing regular updates on the status of their applications, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintain open lines of communication with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders involved in the transaction.

Relationship Management:

Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty. Anticipate clients' needs, proactively address concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction.

• Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:

  Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing mortgage lending practices. Stay up-to-date on changes in mortgage regulations and guidelines to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the mortgage lending process and improve the client experience. Provide feedback to management on potential areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices. •

Consultation and Needs Assessment:

Engage with clients to understand their unique financial situations, homeownership goals, and mortgage needs. Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine the most suitable mortgage products and solutions for each client.

Compensation:

Base Salary:

$45,000 Annually on a draw

• 25 bps per closed file

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services preferred.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient in using mortgage origination software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
