Responsible for inputting loan applications into our system, analyzing and verifying data, and presenting loan information to the Director of Lending for final approval efficiently and expeditiously and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for producing a high volume of quality loans according to the companys guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Interview client applicants for loan applications, input data into system, issue disclosures, and other required information. Verify accuracy of data on applications. Review the loan file to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and requirements. Coordinate closing activities with senior loan processor. Prepare notice of action. Perform post-closing review of all documents and make corrections as necessary. Aid primary staff in the area by answering telephones, assisting walk-in customers, and providing general program information to interested parties. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and adhere to confidentiality policy. Adhere to the Company's policy on attendance. Adhere to the Company's punctuality standards. Perform other related duties as requested and assigned. Required Education /
Certification and Experience:
High School Diploma from an accredited high school or equivalent. Be a licensed Residential Mortgage Loan Originator through the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish languages in both written and verbal styles. Working knowledge of database software and loan origination software; Internet software, accounting software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
